NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of
Education of Springfield School District RE-4 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and
ending June 30, 2027.
A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection at Springfield School
District RE-4, 475 W. 5th Avenue, Springfield, Colorado 81073, during normal business
hours and may also be available on the District's website.
The Board of Education will consider adoption of the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026-
2027 at its regular meeting to be held on June 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Springfield School
District RE-4, 475 W. 5th Avenue, Springfield, Colorado.
Any interested elector of Springfield School District RE-4 may inspect the proposed budget
and file or register any objections thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the
budget.
At the same meeting, the Board of Education will also consider adoption of the
appropriation resolution and authorization of expenditures for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
The proposed budget reflects anticipated revenues and expenditures for all district funds,
including the General Fund, Food Service Fund, Pupil Activity Fund, Preschool Fund, Capital
Reserve Fund, and other funds as applicable. The budget has been prepared in accordance
with Colorado law and District financial policies.
