Due to the forecast of extremely high winds .Springfield School Dist. will not be running bus routes tomorrow Dec. 15th. School will however be in session during regular school hours.

A reminder that the science fair awards will be presented at 8:30 a.m. today in the high school gym.

The Friends of Rachel Club collected 968 items during their food drive. Items were donated to the Baca County Food Bank. These students just finished loading them for delivery.

Thanks to Southeast Colorado Hospital Ambulance Service and Springfield EMS Association for helping us get the freshman Living On Your Own class First-Aid certified!

The F.O.R. Club will be sponsoring a food drive December 6-9, 2021. All items will be donated to the Baca County Food Bank.

The high school basketball season kicks off with the annual R.L. Ballard Tournament on December 3rd and 4th. Due to the on going construction at the high school, the tournament looks a little different this year. Stop by and cheer on the Longhorns this weekend!
