As part of the new safety upgrades, visitors to the school will need to be granted access to the building. The front entrance has a call button (bottom). The secretary will answer and permit access to guests.

Springfield Elementary will be having “Breakfast in the Classroom”. We ask that students eating breakfast arrive at 7:40 a.m. All other students should arrive after 7:50 a.m. classes will start at 8:00 a.m. Bus schedules are being adjusted.

Springfield Cheerleaders are selling Spirit Flags. There are 2 types available. A large 3 ft. X 5 ft. (LONGHORN PRIDE) or a small garden flag (OTHER )

CHSAA sets 20-21 Sports Season Calendar
Work is in progress to provide greater security at Springfield High School.
SHS weight room will be open to the public Monday-Friday, 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. beginning July 27th. There will be safety protocols in place.
Sign up for Junior High Cheerleading tryouts will be extended until August 1, 2020. We will try something new this year, we will have a JV and Varsity squad. If you are interested, you must contact Carla Forrest, (719) 529-0632 or on Facebook messenger. More details regarding the tryouts will be given at a later date.
In-person learning is scheduled to begin August 10th for 6th - 12th grades and August 12th for K - 5th. A reopening committee is working on a plan to allow this to happen. More infromation will be posted as we approach the beginning of the school year.
