FCCLA and FBLA have been preparing delicious food for the concession stand and New this Year: Springfield Booster Club will be presenting the 1st Annual "Heart of a Longhorn" Award during half-time of the Springfield Girl's game on Saturday.

Springfield will be hosting the 25th Annual R.L. Ballard Basketball Classic on December 4th-6th. All games will be played in the Longhorn Gym.
Ticket Prices:
Adults - $6.00
Students and Senior Citizens - $4.00
Only CHSAA and CHSCA passes will be accepted. The tournament helps to raise money for the Springfield Scholarship Fund.

Preschool powwow kicks off fall break! Our littlest learners performed rhythm, songs and dance for their parents this week!

Admission: $5.00-Adults, $3.00-Students (K-12) and Sr. Citizens; CHSAA passes will not be accepted.
A concession stand will be available; however, food and drinks are NOT allowed in the gym.
All games will consist of (2) 20-minute halves and a 3-minute halftime. A running clock will be used unless the game is within 10 points in the last minute.

Our Student Council showed their appreciation for Springfield's bravest with their "Hearts for Heroes" project! Students worked together to pack goodie bags, write thank you letters, and visited our local fire, police, sheriff, and EMT stations to deliver them by hand. It was a great way to say a personal "thank you" to the first responders who do so much for us!
On Friday, the high school cheerleaders competed at the Blue and White Classic competition in Las Animas. They placed 2nd in the Cheer 2A Traditional Division. Congratulations!
On Tuesday, we were proud to honor three of our employees during the Veteran's Day celebration. Brady Humphrey, German Medina and Jeff Mort. THANK YOU for your service!
